Ever since I was bedridden and sick at 16 because of my mental health, I experienced early on how it felt to have a complete lack of control of your own life and how to become okay with that. During the years people spent enjoying their teens and the gateway to adulthood, I was learning how to function again – brush my teeth in the morning, force myself to go outside, and attend my weekly therapy appointments.
Ruzy’s Narrative is meant to show you that you don’t need to have everything figured out. In fact, you shouldn’t have everything figured out. What’s the fun of a race if you’re already at the end and still have 80 years left to use to finish that same race? Enjoying the process and having a growth mindset makes each day more valuable than just waiting for that one day of victory. Instead, let’s learn, grow, and evolve together to be better each day with small achievements worth celebrating throughout your journey.
